The year with no Valentine's Day

Currently I am standing at a free (!) internet kiosk in Auckland, New Zealand, passing the time while I wait for my next flight. So far, the traveling has been pretty painless. I was bummed that I slept through most of the 13-hour flight across the Pacific because I missed out on so many in-flight movies! I also missed out on Valentine's Day with a 2/13 departure out of LA and a 2/15 arrival into NZ. I consider my timing for crossing the International Dateline extremely strategic. :)

In a tragic turn of events, I left my camera charging at home! Unfortunately, I will not be able to post my pictures from the messy Snoop Dogg concert I went to on Friday until after I return stateside. Hopefully, I will still be able to catalogue the NZ trip with the help of Mom, Dad, Sarah, and Paul. (Don't worry, Mom, I remembered to bring YOUR camera... just not mine, haha) Look forward to some exciting updates from the land of the Kiwis. In the meantime, check out the Thilo's New Zealand Adventure!

The year with no Valentine's Day! International "Date" line indeed! This reminds me of the time I had a 38 hour Friday the 13th.
