This past weekend featured a trip to the Houston Symphony with Brandi and Peter for the Pops' film-themed Red Carpet Oscar Party. The program included songs from Gone With the Wind, Lawrence of Arabia, Ben-Hur, Exodus, Chariots of Fire, and Titanic. Composers John Barry, Morricone/Mancini, and John Williams were highlighted. We even heard selections from three currently nominated films: Star Trek, Up, and Nine. After the show, we walked across the street and watched the new Sherlock Holmes movie at the Angelika. The rest of my days have been pretty typical- studying with Vickie, working out with Amy, and looking forward to my New Zealand getaway!

Let's go on with the show!
