For tonight's study break, I went to redeem a sweet deal at CVS (described below). On my brief, 3-minute journey to the CVS around the corner, I listened to Houston's #1 Hit Music Station 104.1 KRBE. I happened to catch the cue to call and wound up being lucky caller #25. My days of Trivia Challenge with AM1080 KVNI came rushing back to me. I didn't have to answer any quiz questions except my name, the name of the radio station 'hooking me up,' and what I was doing (to which I sheepishly replied, "Going to CVS"- hah!). So now I have four tickets to the new G.I. Joe flick heading my way along with a G.I. Joe game for an Xbox 360... not that I own one. Sounds like a post-test/Labor Day party is in order!
As for the CVS deal, here's the breakdown:

(-$6.97 ExtraBucks from previous deals)
$6.40 = TOTAL out-of-pocket (on CVS giftcard)
$11.89 = CVS ExtraBucks earned (theoretical gain of $5.49)
(Note: Accounting for the value of using past ExtraBucks, I bought the three items for $1.48... without discounts I would have paid $32.33!)
