Jon Bon Jovi came to town on May 17th. Joined by classmate Revathi and family friend Max, I enjoyed a night of rocking out to Bon Jovi's greatest hits. It's hard to believe JBJ is nearly 50... he's lookin' goooood. Check out the video clip below to see what I mean:
He finished the show with one of my all-time favorites, Livin' on a Prayer. I busted a move and sang along at the top of my lungs. It was the complete evening. A couple days later, I went to a Rice young alumni event atop One Shell Plaza downtown. The view was impressive, and it was nice to help support the school's Centennial Challenge in preparation for Rice's 100th anniversary next year.
We both got to see Jon Bon Jovi within a month of each other, Becky! He sure knows how to work the crowd - I got a kick out of his moves (and his songs!).
Boy, am I ever behind with the Becky Blogs. Jon Bon Jovi?! He's not only cool, but I think he's a pretty normal, family-oriented kind of guy, too - which makes him WAY cool.

I cannot believe you guys went without me!! He's practically my boyfriend since we are both from Jersey...jk but next time let's go together!!
