From Park City to the Lake City
My trip to visit the Alberts wrapped up on Monday with a trip to Park City. Chelsey and I got pedicures on the way and then walked up and down the main street. Though we were there during the off season for this ski resort/film festival town, its charm was still in full force. I enjoyed peeking in the windows of the cute shops, reading the menus at fine dining establishments, and perusing many of the art galleries.
Unfortunately, my trip to see Chelsey and Joel came to a close that evening when I said goodbye at the Salt Lake City airport. Little did I know, Delta Airlines was not ready to let me leave Utah. My flight was delayed for about four hours! Thankfully, Mindy (from Dad's office and mother of high school friend Molly) was on the same plane. She graciously offered to drive me from the Spokane Airport into Coeur d'Alene and then let me crash at her place. My travel woes really weren't so woeful after all!
For my week of relaxation on Hayden Lake, I enjoyed time with Mom, Dad, and Sam. Oh- and Arney and Kitty! Highlights included a bike ride to Camp Mivoden, kayaking with Dad, Scrabble/SYTYCD with Mom, driving by Sam's new house, and eating dinner at The Cedars floating restaurant (of college summer employment fame). I was also able to psych myself up for rotations, which began with Internal Medicine on July 6!

It was great having you home - even for just a few days. Next time I'll beat you at Scrabble.
Becky - your haircut is SO cute! I'm jealous that you got to spend time with the family in North Idaho...I miss home. I hope you're having a great weekend!
